Service Description

Breathe better. Be aware. Feel more at ease. This two-session program is designed to gently reconnect you with your breath, facial posture, and oral function. It blends facial fascia release, breathwork for nervous system regulation, and oral posture education to create greater awareness and support healthier movement patterns in the head, neck, and jaw. You’ll also receive a personalized set of basic lingual exercises to improve tongue posture, support nasal breathing, and begin building the foundation for long-term oral and airway health. Sessions are booked one month apart, with time to integrate your take-home practices between visits. The second session includes a follow-up to assess your progress and determine if a full myofunctional therapy program is appropriate. This program is great for: • Adults and teens who clench, mouth-breathe, or experience jaw tension • Individuals curious about myofunctional therapy but not ready to commit to a full program • Clients who feel stressed or dysregulated and want to reconnect with calm breathing • Those preparing for or recovering from airway dental work, orthodontics, or tongue tie release Benefits may include: • Improved awareness of resting tongue posture • Better nasal breathing and reduced mouth breathing • Relief from facial and jaw tension • Calmer, more regulated nervous system • Increased focus, energy, and breath control • Foundational knowledge to support future therapy, dental care, or wellness goals This program may help if you experience: • Mouth breathing or open-mouth posture • Poor sleep or fatigue despite enough hours in bed • Tongue thrust, low tongue posture, or difficulty keeping tongue on the palate • Facial tension or clenching habits • Anxiety, shallow breathing, or holding your breath during stress • TMJ discomfort or persistent jaw tightness • Forward head posture or poor alignment Please note: Some structural restrictions (such as a tongue tie, deviated septum, nasal blockages or a narrow palate) may impact your progress, and a full myofunctional therapy program may be recommended for optimal outcomes.
